General American Soverign Maritime
Executive Summary
General American Sovereign Maritime Fleet is a core component of America’s new energy and logistics strategy.

At launch, we are projected to acquire five 2016-era midsize LNG carriers, each built by world-class South Korean shipyards and recognized for their reliability, efficiency, and global port accessibility. These 155,000–165,000 m³ TFDE vessels allow for faster loading, shorter transit times, and lower operating costs than ultra-large carriers, ensuring maximum competitiveness in global markets.
In addition to these initial vessels, General American Sovereign Trust is proposing the development of a completely new East Coast drydock and shipbuilding facility, where we can construct our own LNG carriers and OMG-class vessels domestically. This facility will create American jobs, strengthen national security, and eliminate reliance on foreign shipyards for future fleet expansion.
Strategic Maritime Control
By controlling both our maritime fleet and our shipbuilding capability, the General American Sovereign Maritime division will:
- Ensure America can transport its own LNG without foreign dependence
- Lower global LNG prices through increased supply and reduced shipping time
- Deliver LNG from California to Pacific markets in fewer days, increasing profitability and speed
- Serve European and Eastern markets from our East Coast deployment
- Establish a long-term U.S. manufacturing base for next-generation LNG carriers
- Create thousands of high-paying American jobs across maritime, construction, logistics, and engineering sectors
This fleet of five 2016-era midsize LNG carriers forms the foundation of a maritime system designed to secure America’s energy dominance and support global stability for decades to come.
